This book presents the comparative treatises wreatises written in Greek by Panayiotes Chalatzoglou and Kyrillos Marmarinos. The concerned analysis places their works within the socio-cultural setting of Ottoman musical writings of the first half of eighteenth century and parallels them to other sources.
